how many of you do this in the gun?
would this be a good way to run some veer out of the gun?
probably would be for power, or double lead, or maybe even some counter stuff
but veer?

I was looking at having one back directly behind and a back to one side or both sides of the QB. I like the idea of a qb sweep with 3 backs leading. It could also set up a nice play action pass off the qb sweep for goaline offense.

We saw this from a team we played in the playoffs. Our kids had a hard time recognizing the formation. When they did run it, it was always a sweep to that side.

seems like it would be a cool way to run counter away from it
and zone dive option type thing

you know guys, i'm not sure which is better, but i've seen northwestern motion one of the backs out of two-back gun across to show an overloaded side and run a form of load option....
Or you can line up with a one back and then a stack back behind the QB. I like the idea of taking set formation like that into a check with me system of checking for inverts, etc. like "option on me". does anyone have ideas for a play when both inverts area's are covered? i was thinking about this out of a twins open set and placing the one back to the two receiver side. to the two receiver side i would run lead/speed option, to the open end i would run crazy option with the one back taking the shovel path of course, looking at some type of isolation possibly off an option look to take at the heart of the defense in relation to the midline in option on me, any ideas?
