do you think you could get away with not blocking or reading the bsde on the read stuff sometimes?
meaning, sometimes those defenses will play the jump technique trying to make the qb make a give read by the bsde being wide.
do you think as an easy add you could just run counter or zone-t/dart with the qb following the back up in there behind the bsot on his pull?
like when the qb sees this as a give read, instead of making it a give read, turn it into a follow read? just follow the back up in there where he was supposed to go?
maybe not add it as a seperate play but just a way to teach it if they do respect the backside of the qb option off of the zone, zonet, GT ,dart
just thinking outside the box here

what we do is run motion with a slot reciever to hold the BSDE with the possiblity of sweep...this is still an influence block but we don't actually hit him...I teach the QBs that if DE closes hard we pull and follow the motion man...if DE widens we follow the lead back up the hole... we put it in because we played against a DE that had signed with Washington State and he was eating up anything and anybody that came his way...
