We would get into trips and often saw a "cover 3" look to that side. We forced the defender who had the flats to be wrong. The most inside receiver ran a 5-7 yard stop route. Outside reciever ran a go. The middle receiver ran at the "toes" of the outside receiver's initial stance. We would throw basically to the void that the defender left. Most of the time, the defender would go to the "toes"receiver and we would throw to the stop guy. Hard to put into words, but we usually had someone wide open.

Just like a stick route or option route.
