Heard they are running the Gun Option.
Anybody have any materials or contacts?

I know a couple of Texas Lutheran's coaches--one was my offensive coordinator in college and the other a teammate. We didn't run it when I played for him, but I know over the summer they were really thinking about adding some option. We'll handle this in a direct manner--I'll just give them a call this weekend and see.

Thanks very much coach!
I am a LONG LONG way from Texas. I know most smaller school staffs tend to be veru friendly but I'd just hate to call and bother them.
I'm a coach from up in Canada and I can't imagine what they'd think if I called them asking for information....

Do it. Most of the smaller Texas schools are really cool.

TLU runs some pretty slick variations of gun option. They use bunch formations to pick up an extra back for pitch. We are going up there to talk sometime this summer. Their OC recruits our school. They love to talk football with ya.

I talked to the o-line coach from TLU today. He says they are going ahead with a full gun option offense next season, like the Urban Meyer offense. www.tlu.edu has the contact information on the staff. I'm sure they'd be willing to help with any questions you have. The offensive coordiator (Good) and o line coach (Martin) are the two to contact.

Thanks coach!
I'll be sending those two gentlemen an email in the next day or so.
