Coaches, We are looking at going to spread option next year, and would like a series blending the midline option with the jet sweep. I am particularly interested in the timing between the FB and Jet man and QB footwork/handwork necessary. Any help is appreciated, I know this was a topic at The Atlanta Glazier or Mega Clinic this year. Thanks

one thing we have done is snap the ball a little later, just to make sure we dont have a collision. We have not run it as much and we dont practice as much. We are cautious about it.

Here's my question: How does the QB hand the ball to the Jet man? Does he just stick the ball back like he would in reading the Midline, and the Jet takes it, and if it's a fake, the jet doesn't grap it? Thanks

Here is a video clip that shows how the QB gives on the Jet with the tight veer fake to the FB. The midline would be run with normal midline footwork by the QB and FB - happens too fast for the defense to make an adjustment. www.putfile.com/media.php?n=DragonJets
