What do you all think of running kids the day after games? I know of a very successful head coach in my area who has his kids get together at 10am on saturday mornings and then they stretch and they run 10 100's at full speed, no jogging.......I have heard it breaks up the lactic acid and prevents soreness....I know almost all NFL teams have the guys come in on monday to lift and do some conditioning.....What do you guys think???

Lactic acid is not the source of soreness, so it's not necessarily true that running the next day will prevent soreness. Soreness is caused by micro tears in muscles, and these tears must heal for soreness to go away.
