I have his first book "More Than Winning" and "On Solid Ground", and they are great books, but his 1999 book "Faith In The Game" is a masterpiece.....I would say it should be REQUIRED reading for high school students. It is so little about football and so much about life and different situations people face...Based on my estimations, Osborne WAS the greatest college coach of all time, Nebraska is a very hard area to sell to young recruits and he lost many Orange Bowls vs. FSU and Miami at an UN-NEUTRAL site(in Florida!!!)....Play those games vs. Miami and FSU in Lincoln on New Year's day and Osborne has 6 National Titles instead of 3!!!! Osborne has a Doctorate and is now a U.S. Congressman.....A brilliant man and not your average football coach....

I have never read his books, didn't really even know they were around. But I can promise you I will be looking for them. I have so much respect for what he did out in the middle of no where... Next to Iowa, what other "Major" School would be as difficult to draw recruits to? Thanks for the info!
