We are primarily a splitback veer team with some I option and isos. We are facing (for the first time in a long while) a 5-2 front that likes to shift the nose while a team is in its cadance. i think I like the OSV and load option. any ideas? We will definatly iso over the guards. Any suggestions on what to tell my O-line when they move around and should we quick count them? Any other ideas you split back guys have for beating a 5-2 would be appreciated!

If they shift hard and you have an "Oscar Call" to run your veer weak side, that can be devatating. (Happened to my 5-2) Other wise, your blocking changes little, and depending on their Nose, OSV should be your best bet. If they move his heine all the way to head up over the guard however, your ISV will still be available, an adjustment you might have to make at halftime.
